Review by Wendy Allred

Back Together Again by Daryl Hall & John Oates is a classic album that showcases the duo's signature sound. Featuring 10 tracks, the album is a mix of catchy pop tunes and soulful ballads. The album opens with the upbeat and funky "I'm In Pieces," which sets the tone for the rest of the record. Other standout tracks include the groovy "Going Through the Motions," the soulful "Everytime You Go Away," and the romantic "Some Things are Better Left Unsaid."

The album's title track, "Back Together Again," is a highlight of the record. The song is a mid-tempo ballad that showcases the duo's vocal harmonies and songwriting skills. The lyrics speak to the power of friendship and the importance of coming together despite differences.

This was back when Hall and Oates were more AOR (Album Oriented Rock) ? leaning. AOR is not necessary about hard rock, heavy metal, grunge, or the alternative rock genere. I turned on the news on a early Sunday morning and they played a piece of this song. I forgot about it. I remember it.
