Back in the day, in this era of soul til now. Wow! There is yet still so much to learn musically here and appreciate from the great artists, and musicians collaboration on this track. The epitome of the Chicago Chi-sound on displayed
here with again, a superb Curtis
Mayfield tune and production.

Another great song by Gene Chandler. It was possible when Curtis Mayfield was the producer. He was quite a remarkable artist. I wish I heard this song when I was a child.

Well Hey! This is quintessential Chicago R&B soul from back in the day with Curtis Mayfield writer, Bunkey Shepherd, producer collaboration. Also with my all-time favorite musical arranger Johnny Pate on this great session. There's so much Chicago soul to love here on this production. Just listen to the rhythm-guitar riff. The horn Arrangement is superb, Universal Studio Chicago sound. The background vocals are Curtis Mayfield and The Impressions. What a great posting, and you got lucky if you gave this one a chance and listen. ....Can you dig it?
