LSP is Lee Fraged, SAWF & Philippos N; all Freshit regulars each with a unique sound & production style. Skinny Deep is the project they started in Berlin and each of them finished back home.
Freshit boss Philippos N, kicks off this EP with his version spanning both deep house and disco. The subby deep bass dominates throughout along with tight percussions and filtered disco loops that make your speakers breath. The funky wah-wah groove, stab synths and guitar licks all make up for a great summer club track . All with the help of young producer, DJ and bad ass drummer Marvel.
Head of This Side Music Lee Fraged, delivers his signature deep house groove with tight kicks, swirling arpeggios and floaty pads (and a touch of acid too).
A beautiful composition from start to finish which sounds innocent (almost) at first, but certainly entrances.
SAWF leads the soundscape with his 120bpm version floating somewhere between deep house and industrial techno, however so subtle and discreet you can play it at a dinner party (or at a rave in a wet basement at 08:00 am). The mix is as tight as it gets. Basic 808 drums get the Sawf treatment with added reverbs bouncing round the room; Am I in a factory or in heaven?.
A composition so simple yet so powerful and at 10:19 duration, it will blow your mind. Grab your snorkels; Freshitʼs off to the beach ...
