Review by Rhonda Mumpini

Mia Dan's latest album, Dor Din Poarta Bistriței, is a beautiful collection of traditional Romanian folk songs. The album features Dan's soulful voice and skilled guitar playing, accompanied by other traditional instruments such as the cimbalom, violin, and accordion.

Each song on the album tells a story, and Dan's emotive delivery brings these tales to life. The album is a celebration of Romanian culture and heritage, and Dan's passion for her roots shines through in every note.

One standout track is "Pe Dealul Feleacului," which features haunting harmonies and a driving rhythm. Another highlight is "Dorul Meu," a bittersweet ballad that showcases Dan's ability to convey deep emotion through her music.
